Hello, all!

We have some changes afoot! First of all, we have finally decided on a title for this project after five years! The official name of this unofficial project is "Chrono Ideologues". Also, we have decided to produce this game in a series of "episodes" which has already simplified quite a lot of aspects of the development process. What we are hoping to do is put up "modules" of one act each as we go along. Each act involves a very large chunk of the storyline but will also allow one some "free play" such as sidequests and chances to explore the universe outside the storyline.

While some of you, especially those who frequent the boards, are aware of what's going on, I felt this would be an appropriate time to officially announce the opening of the Programmer position.

Description - Able to either modify the current engine (in C++ using OpenGL and OpenSDL) or create an entirely new 3D engine from scratch in a preferred language, preferrably portable across multiple platforms (Windows, Linux, Macintosh.) Must be able to program the physics, 3D, audio and game portions of the engine.

Requirements - No formal education needed. Please submit a portfolio of your previous work via email. If none is available, then a test will be given.

I have already received a few e-mails expressing interest in the position and I'm waiting for more responses to this announcement before I start giving out the test then evaluate the applicants.

We all felt it was time to start things anew with the site design. This has been three months of work fine-tuning every aspect of the design. And guess what? It's not done yet! We have a few more additions in store for the near future. We hope that you enjoy the new site design and if you come across any problems, please report them in the boards. Removed the ability to comment on news posting - Partially due to a problem with the backend which I haven't been able to solve, but also because I wanted people to use the boards more so all discussions will be moved to the boards from now on. Also, this prevents comment spam which has been such a major problem lately.

Dropped "Screenshots" and added "Media" page - in the near future, the page will hold not just screenshots and related images, it will also feature music samples and the like.

Changed "Mission" to "About" page and added FAQ - I wanted to expand on that page and add a FAQ (we had a FAQ page a while back but I deleted it because it was falling into disrepair)

Added new skin to Boards - I added a new Boards skin, which will become the new default, but keeping the old skin just in case some people prefer it over the new one.
