We have gotten amazing responses for the sketch artist position. We are in the process of reviewing the applicants' portfolios and will come to a decision shortly. But for now, we have two open positions that we *need* to fill immediately.

Assistant Modeler
We need some good people to assist our two main modelers, Ray and Jeldres. They've done such an amazing job but they need your help. This position doesn't require as much responsibility as the main modelers.

Texture Artist
This position is still open. We need somebody to create/modify textures to match the look and feel that we are going for in UCT2. We are not going for photorealism, but we're trying to match the feel of Chrono Trigger. Think Dragon Quest VIII or Skies of Arcadia.

Oh, before I forget, there has been more progress with the engine. I spoke with Toku this morning and he showed me two videos of it in action. He's completed the physics component of the engine (and has remarked that the engine now supports Aegia's PhysX Physics Processing Unit hardware, though it is not required. He's now implementing ray-traced shadows which means that the shadows will change size and shape depending on light source and the objects casting the shadow. We're getting there, folks.
